• 100g USA Long Grain rice
  • 200g Minced beef
  • 100g Bread crumbs
  • 3 tsp English mustard
  • 3 tsp Creamed horseradish
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp chopped rosemary
  • 1 tbsp chopped thyme
  • 375g Ready roll puff pastry
  • 1 beaten egg for brushing
  • 1 tsp of extra fresh thyme to sprinkle 


Cook the USA Long Grain rice for 15 minutes.

Add breadcrumbs to the minced beef. Then add the cooked and cooled USA Long Grain rice. Add creamed horseradish and English mustard and mix together.

Season with salt and pepper. Add more flavour with chopped fresh herbs and mix together.

Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle and cut the pastry down the middle long ways.

Add the sausage meat down the middle of the pastry. Brush edges with beaten egg and roll up. Sprinkle with fresh thyme and transfer on to a baking tray.

Bake for 20 minutes at 180c until golden and crisp.
